The Films For The 2011 Fest
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:34PM The Lancaster Area Film Festival is proud to announce the lineup of films that will play in the 2011 Festival on April 9 at Penn Cinema in Lititz, PA. The selection committee had a hard time whittling down the numerous entries, taking until Monday night, hours before the deadline, to make their choices.
Without further ado, here are the films that will screen at the fest, and the filmmakers who brought them to life:

Oscar® Winner GOD OF LOVE to Screen at LAFF!
Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 12:07PM The Lancaster Area Film Festival is proud to announce that God of Love, a 2011 Academy Award® winner will screen at the third edition of the festival on April 9.
The film won the Live Action Short Film category. Written and directed by Luke Matheny, God of love follows lounge-singing darts champion Raymond finds his prayers are answered – literally – when he receives a mysterious package of passion-inducing darts. The film was a winner of the gold medal at the 2010 Student Academy Awards; special jury recognition at Aspen ShortsFest; as well as first prize and the King Award for Screenwriting at the NYU First Run Film Festival.
